The little dents in life..
It’s miraculous. Rehearsal every day, practicing for lessons, studying for an AP Exam, starting a new book in English, learning all new material all the time in other classes, and I’m still standing. Somehow. To be honest, I’m scraping by. My grades are in the low A high B range and are constantly fluctuating. I hate that. I’m trying, but I guess one can only do so much.
I hurt the love of my life today. Dented my Yamaha 571-HCT during pit rehearsal. Wasn’t paying attention while I was switching between sax/picc/flute and it fell and hit a stand. Simcha. I die a little inside every time I look at it, but it can and will get fixed (hopefully quickly because of rehearsal) this weekend.
The good news: Mom officially got the new house! We’ll move in early June. I’m also moving into my basement at my dad’s this summer, which means my own room for the first time (ever). So that means I can paint it whatever the heck I want. Summer will be beautiful. DMA, UW-Whitewater (if I ever sit down and sign up), school band camp, friends, bonfires, the whole shebang.
