I wish there was something that someone could say to help me feel less empty, but I don’t really believe anything anyone says anymore. What’s the point? Why trust anyone? Everyone leaves, anyway. Day 5: What was your favorite song to play?
Mambo from West Side Story. Def. There was one set called the “Park & Blow.” Priceless. Freshman year on piccolo = win. <3 As much as I love conducting, there are certainly times when I miss marching. Looking back on freshman year is one of those times.

Roll step is where it’s at! We used to do Cavies style with our old director for our backwards march, so we’d roll backwards, but with our new director, we go on our toes like most high schools do.

I hate this a lot. Sometimes trying is useless. In this case, it certainly is.
