Waking up early (well, for summer, 10:30am is early) to practice makes me feel better.

…I need to do this more often.

it was supposed to say

“…because when it’s 1am and I feel like practicing, I can play flute without worrying about people who actually sleep.”

I am hanging out with a good friend, and I am happy. I got a lot done this week; I worked out, practiced, hung out with friends, and even had time to play some video games. Sometimes I miss being holed up in my room and focusing on the tv screen - it gives me an escape from the craziness that ended high school. But my momentum can’t stop here! I need to keep my stride going and continue to be productive. Especially with my practicing. Even though I’m worried about things like money and lessons and everything, it’s nights like this that make me remember why I love and need friendship in my life. I’m sad that I won’t be with ANY of my high school friends next year, but I know that this chapter of my life is going to be a great one.

I also love meeting new people.

Got to spend tonight around Northwestern’s campus with some new and old friends. Can’t wait until college.
